Children's Work/World Book Day

Here is a variety of work from the children completed on World Book Day. The whole day was dedicated to English. The children and staff dressed up as book characters.

Hand puppets were made by the year 2 children of Farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean from Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox.

The Key Stage one children designed a cover and wrote the blurb for Owl Babies.
The Key Stage two children were given a made up book title and were asked to design a cover and write the blurb for what they thought the story might be about.
The Chronicles of Narnia has been very popular again. The children created collages using different materials showing what they imagine Narnia to look like.
