Holy Trinity C of E Primary School is a large, inclusive school in Halifax. At our last Ofsted in Feb 2018 we were judged to be ‘Good’ where ‘The school’s culture of high expectations is underpinned by a strong sense of moral purpose.’ Our SIAMs inspection in March 2018 found that ‘The wellbeing of children is at the heart of the school’s mission to provide outstanding education.’


We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational and resilient Deputy Headteacher who will embody the Christian ethos and culture of the school. The candidate will have the capacity to help lead and motivate our dedicated staff and pupils to the next stage of our continued development and improvement. They will have a strong and caring leadership style, with the ability to inspire and bring out the best in everyone. The role will be challenging but rewarding and will include a teaching commitment.


We are looking for a professional individual who:

Has senior leadership experience of at least Assistant Head or equivalent

Has sympathy with Christian traditions

Is an Outstanding classroom teacher

Is passionate about improving educational standards

Possesses excellent communication skills

Has the highest expectations for learners, staff and the wider community
