At Holy Trinity, Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) enables our children to become healthy, independent and responsible members of our community. It aims to help them understand how they are developing personally and socially, and tackles many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up. This is done through support from our dedicated Nurture Team, alongside weekly PSHCE lessons planned and delivered from the PSHE Association guidance, which includes lessons on online safety and age appropriate relationship and sex education.

We provide our children with opportunities for them to learn about rights and responsibilities through the teaching of British Values and aim for them to appreciate what it means to be a member of our diverse society by promoting ‘different families - same love’.

Our children are encouraged to develop their sense of self-worth by playing a positive role in contributing to school life through our School Council, Junior Leadership Team, Christian Crackers, Eco Warriors team, Befrienders and Sports Leaders. We have local links with our local policing and firefighting community, who regularly visit to offer support and guidance to pupils and families, alongside links with local care homes.
